Paul Haddad of Tapbots:
We’ll be working with Twitter over the next 6 months to make sure we comply with these new requirements as much as possible.
I’m sure Tweetbot will have no trouble complying with the new rules, as they’ve been stated so far.
The bigger question is what the rules will be in a few months or years, and whether the clients we like will be arbitrarily cut off when Twitter’s next big initiative starts, when yet another founder or CEO leaves or rejoins the company, or when their suits1 gather in a conference room with a spiderphone on the table and redefine their quadrants to better synergize their consistent experiences for their integrated revenue strategy with their real customers.
California-web-company suits need not actually wear suits to be suits. But trust me, they’re there. ↩
