Penny Arcade Kickstarter ends with some ads removed →

They raised $528,144, an impressive amount that just barely achieved the removal of all ads on their front page for one year. Most of the original-content goals were not reached, and they’ll have ads on other pages on the site, just not the front page.
They deserve congratulations for raising so much money, but I still think this was a weird move.
